Articulating Booms - Electric and Bi-Energy
The Genie DC and Bi-Energy machinery made by Terex provide emission-free and quiet operation in the most sensitive work applications. Like for example, in industrial situations where the machine should travel significant distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the advantages and versatility of a diesel fueled generator utilizing a 48 Volt DC machine.

Key characteristics which this combination provides is up, over and out positioning capabilities for complete versatility. In addition, the zero tail-swing provided by nearly all models, combined with the tight turning radius offers easy maneuvering through narrow aisles and standard doors.

Proportional lift controls and drive controls also provide precise boom positioning and smooth drive performance. The 48V DC electric drive system offers quiet and emission free operation suitable for sensitive settings. There are jib boom models available to function with an extra working range for specific jobs. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform which rotates to either side at an angle of 90 degrees.

Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine
Genie equipment by Terex are ideal for both outdoor and indoor construction applications. This model provides engine-powered articulating Z booms that combine out, over and up positioning capabilities and extreme lifting versatility overall. The outreach provided by this type is second to none in the market.

Diesel engine machines on nearly all modes have an articulating boom that provides zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These equipment are ideal in narrow or small locations. Additionally, they provide excellent torque, terrain and grade maneuverability and utmost power. The diesel engines are quiet in general too. The majority of models have active oscillating axle and full time drive positive drive traction system to offer great flexibility on surfaces which are uneven and rough.

High ground clearance is offered in 2 or 4 wheel drive models, while the rough terrain models are desirable for any company's fleet. The jib boom types are available and provide extra range capabilities. On non-jib types, the self-leveling platform also rotates to ninety degrees on these models too.
