Narrow aisle lift trucks work by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the width of the aisle. Yale spotlights the double reach NDR and the single reach NR models for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has different control handle and stance configurations and apply best-in-class ergonomics.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are many control handle configurations that meet a range of operations and the aft stance, a choice of fore or side-stance options also.
AC Motor Technology: This technology offers strong acceleration and deceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been made for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of cargo transported during a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The mast reach assembly comprise tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings. This increases the durability and rigidity of the mast; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, and the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: To really improve the overall throughput and productivity, Yale offers industry leading uploading speeds and lowering speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: While regenerative lowering can reduce battery changes per shift it also works to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and thus really reduces energy. The operator could adjust the steering tiller and the technician could adjust the steer effort in order to decrease operator exhaustion. During the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically start.
Order Selectors: The narrow aisle trucks and the very narrow aisle trucks are also referred to as order pickers. These machinery are made for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors lift both the operator and the load to its required height. This height could be over 30 feet. Like the majority of turret trucks they are usually guided by wire or rail when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
