Kinds
Clark manufactures an array of forklift trucks including pneumatic trucks, cushion trucks and narrow aisle. The different types vary in terms of the way they operate. For example, heavy-duty forklifts utilized for agriculture and construction operate on an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle kinds designed to be used in warehouses and other confined spaces operate on rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
According to the type of Clark forklift trucks, the lifting capacity can differ. Forklifts which are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the model. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion types are recommended. They could lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
Clark electrically-powered forklift trucks run on AC battery cells, either 36 volt or 48 volt. The internal combustible engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC types have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed types.
Frame/Cab
The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This includes the operator's overhead protective cover, the controls and the seat. The frame consist of the engine, fuel tank, transmission, trans-axle and wheels.
