End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is a really flexible machine and is popular in the material handling industry. These machines have great performance characteristics which are somewhat like sit-down electric lift truck models.
Ideally, these forklift truck models are suitable for warehousing operation atmospheres which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are usually less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machinery are an ideal choice for applications which require frequent on and off access, because their stand-up design is an exceptional characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading device utilized by various companies that maintain a storage facility involving the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and materials which are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers simple and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent alternative for people who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need yet in an efficient and safe way.
The standard reach truck model is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping forks which move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The blades additionally have a hydraulic system that allows the operator to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just provides much more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
After the reach truck finds the shelves which are selected for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the blades to swing into place and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Usually, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
